If you live in a big family you are always trying to cut the costs. One of my favorite ways is to ‘make it yourself’! I was looking through our pantry and I noticed the hot cocoa was almost out, so I found this mix recipe on allrecipes.com. I changed it a little, and below is the revised version.
Doesn’t the pantry look so happy being stocked up with holiday cocoa?
Hot Cocoa Mix Recipe (allrecipes.com)
- 10 cups of powdered dry milk
- 8 cups of powdered sugar
- 3 cups of cocoa powder
- 1 3/4 cups of non-dairy creamer
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. (I ran the powdered milk through the food processor so as not to get gross milk duds!) When ready to serve, put 1/3 of mix in hot water. I also add a bit of milk to make it richer. Yum!
Enjoy!
-Makes 45 servings and 15 cups.

Yes! Yes! It’s a very bad luck that I don’t have non-dairy creamier now. But, I will do my grocery and buy one. 😀 Thanks for sharing and enjoy your weekend. xx Jhuls
Yay! I hope you do try it! My family and I drank so much of this over Christmas.
