I first had this in December at a potluck and I couldn’t believe how amazing it was. It tasted like a twist between chocolate covered pretzels and peanut brittle candy…..I mean this is seriously good! I got this recipe from my friends the S’s earlier this month and we have already made this bark three times. My mom even stocked up on saltine crackers. (okay the crackers were for the soups too. ) Anyways, enough talk, here is the recipe.
Cracker Bark
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Boil 3 minutes:
1 3/4 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
Pour mixture over saltine crackers spread in a jelly roll pan.
Bake for 5-6 minutes – watch edges for burning.
Remove from oven.
Sprinkle 1-2 cups chocolate chips over top.
Spread chips when they melt to make chocolate layer.
Cool until chocolate hardens.
(Please note: I do not own the rights to this recipe!)
So simple! It takes about 15 minutes to make. Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do.

I’ve made this before and the name should be changed to “crack bark”! So good!! I’m a huge fan of the salty/sweet combo! 🙂
Yeah, it’s sooo good. Thanks, I changed the title. 🙂
Amazing, amazing, amazing! Klo, you are a blessing in so many ways!
