Last summer I made some good old-fashioned lemonade…not really following any recipe, just instinct. It turned out awesome, so I decided to go for it again, but this time I added strawberries! I mean-what could go wrong? My family absolutely loved it and asked for it all summer long! It is the perfect combo of strawberry and lemon flavor. It is also very thirst quenching for a hot day. I made the first batch of the season Thursday and we already bought the ingredients to make it again. I tried to set a direct recipe in my head this time so I could share it with others. I hope your home enjoys this recipe as much as we do!
Strawberry Lemonade
Ingredients:
3 lemons
18 strawberries
6 cups of water
1 cup of sugar
Directions:
Squeeze the lemons and strawberries and pour juice into a pitcher. (To squeeze the strawberries, cut into smaller chunks and press them against your lemon squeezer.) Add the water and sugar; mix well. Allow the strawberries to sit in the lemonade before serving. This step is really important: the strawberry flavor comes out much stronger if they have a chance to set. Chill before serving.
Enjoy!

Yum! I have been wanting to try strawberry lemonade–I keep using the strawberries for other things before I get to making it though! 🙂
I know, it’s so easy to use up berries quickly. You should really try it though it is totally worth it! 🙂 By the way, thanks for the follow!
Refreshing summer drink:)
Thanks! It sure is! 🙂
what pretty pictures. Thanks for sharing your “secrets” 🙂 We had a party recently and I had my mom pick up the lemonade. She bought a Country Time mix and it was strawberry lemonade. Am sure yours is MUCH better!
Thank you! I love taking photos! Aww, you’re so sweet. 🙂 I didn’t know Country Time made strawberry lemonade…good to know if we are ever in a hurry!
It looks so delicious and refreshing 😀 Love your photographs 🙂
Thanks! These photos were really fun to take. 🙂
Kloe, this sounds perfect for summer.
I love your shocking pink flowers – so pretty too!
Emma 🙂
Thanks! The flowers grow in our backyard and are so pretty! They always cheer me up. 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping in Emma! Come back soon! ♥
I wish it was summer here, then I could drink a whole pitcher of this!
Oh! What season is it for you? I know what you mean…if it weren’t for my siblings I would drink a whole pitcher myself. (he-he)
You know how to make lemonade! Adding strawberries, now we are talking 😉 I also really like that you don’t have. like, 6 cups of sugar to 6 cups of water! It makes me want to serve this to my brothers on hot days, knowing I’ll be refreshing them without inducing a sugar coma 😉 Fantastic recipe Khloe!
Thank you so much! I know what you mean, stuff that has too much sugar is really gross. It also takes away from the lemon flavor when too much is added. You should make it! Your brothers would love it…mine did! 🙂
I was JUST thinking about fresh lemonade the other day! Maybe I’ll make some too! Pretty.
Thanks! Lemonade is the best!
Kloe, this looks like the PERFECT strawberry lemonade! Sounds so refreshing on a hot summer day, and I love that there isn’t a ton of sugar in here! Definitely trying this one out! 🙂
Thanks, Gayle! It really is perfect. I know, too much sugar ruins everything. Let me know it if you do try it! 🙂
I need to make this soon! Strawberry lemonade is the best!
Haha! You sounds like me…I LOVE strawberry lemonade. 🙂
This looks amazing! Love the idea of adding strawberries, that sounds super delicious! 🙂
Thanks! I know what can go wrong with strawberries and lemonade…I mean-really! Hope you try it, I think you would love it!
Kloe this looks so refreshing! We love lemonade and strawberry lemonade …especially my son. He will love for me to make this! Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Sounds like this drink is for you! I know, my sibling love me every time I make this for them too. 🙂
Ooh I was just thinking this warm weather was making me want a nice cold glass of cider, but now I want a nice cold glass of this! Looks so good, thanks for sharing
Great! I know with the hot days nothing is better than a thirst quenching cold drink! 🙂
Kloe!! Welcome .welcome..welcome to Fiesta Friday!! I’m so happy to see you here…and this lemonade? Wow, it is fabulous. Do you know that I have tried a bunch of times to make lemonade, and it always turns out so bitter! I’m definitely trying this, and maybe you can help me finally make the best lemonade!! This is such a perfect treat to bring to FF table, and I know that everyone will love it just as much as I do!! I love your photos.. so, so pretty. Thank you so much for sharing this with all of us… Have a lovely week!! ❤
Thanks so much! I am glad you like it! I know some lemonade is too watery or doesn’t have enough flavor. Don’t worry this one certainly does. 🙂 I hope you try it and like it. Let me know how it goes. I’m sure you will nail it…You are awesome! ♥ -Kloe
Love this recipe…yum! 🙂
Thanks so much!
Yum, reminds me of all the extra berries I have kicking around the fridge. I’m thinking virgin daiquiris too (like I made for my niece Julia when we were in Hawaii last July! Cheers!
Yes, this recipe will take care of all of those berries. Go ahead and use whatever ones you can find. I am sure it would turn out wonderfully. Those Hawaiian drinks sound awesome! We had the virgin ones one our Tropical Vacation last year and they were amazing! Cheers to you too!

I love your recipe for strawberry lemonade! I never would have thought of squeezing strawberries to juice them. What a great idea. I like the fact that it is completely homemade, too. Can’t wait to try this. Thanks for sharing the recipe, Kloe!
Thanks Shari! I am glad you like it. It was a totally hit at my house. It was literally gone in ten minutes. I hardly had a chance to drink it. Ha-ha!
