Okay everyone, this week I made it my goal to eat oatmeal every single day! I did pretty well. I tried many different ways of preparing it, and I discovered that there are so many wonderful twists you can put on oats. My family (save one sister who was brave enough to try it with me) thought I was officially crazy. None of them really like oatmeal unless it is done “just right” or instant. After I finished the week I decided to push my experiment out for another week. So, get ready for another oatmeal recipe soon! This one was my favorite of the ones I tried. Cocoa Banana Oatmeal
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup water combined
1 tsp vanilla extract
a little more than 1/2 Tbsp cacao or cocoa powder*
1 tsp peanut butter
sprinkle of hemp seeds
1 Tbsp peanut butter
