Fudgy Gooey Brownies

Something that used to always bother me is that the best kind of brownies are the ones from a box….I mean sometimes no matter how well you bake or how much effort you put into a brownie batch, the boxed ones are always gooier and yummier. Well, that is what used to bother me. It doesn’t nag me any more since I found a recipe that is fudgier, gooier and yummier than those boxed mix brownies. These are sooooooo good and I am totally convinced you will like them as much as I do! They are soft, moist, and not dry. The secret is that the chocolate flavor comes from melted chocolate chips rather than cocoa powder. This makes them dense and fudgy like the boxed mix kind! They passed the family test with flying colors! Everyone picked on them all weekend and there is not a single one left, just the pan on the counter which no one wants to wash. (a continuous problem in our house of 12-haha! :)) brownie-recipe I may or may not have taste-tested three of these before photographing…..

  3. I can’t imagine a box mix tasting better than these! You have definitely been using the wrong recipes (before this one 😉 ) as from-scratch always has to be better. Now for a bit of ice cream 🙂 How long does a pan of 12 brownies last in your house?

  4. Ohhhhh.. gooey brownies are the best kind! Definitely something I’m going to have to try, one of my husbands favorite things too 🙂
