Something that used to always bother me is that the best kind of brownies are the ones from a box….I mean sometimes no matter how well you bake or how much effort you put into a brownie batch, the boxed ones are always gooier and yummier. Well, that is what used to bother me. It doesn’t nag me any more since I found a recipe that is fudgier, gooier and yummier than those boxed mix brownies. These are sooooooo good and I am totally convinced you will like them as much as I do! They are soft, moist, and not dry. The secret is that the chocolate flavor comes from melted chocolate chips rather than cocoa powder. This makes them dense and fudgy like the boxed mix kind! They passed the family test with flying colors! Everyone picked on them all weekend and there is not a single one left, just the pan on the counter which no one wants to wash. (a continuous problem in our house of 12-haha! :))
I may or may not have taste-tested three of these before photographing…..

These look heavenly, Kloe! They look like they would melt in your mouth. I have always liked box brownie mixes, too, so can’t wait to try these.
Well, if you are a “box mix brownie gal” than you will like these too! Hope you give them a try! 🙂
Yum! I love my brownies fudge and gooey too! 🙂
Yes!
These do look moist and fudgy! Yummy
Thank you!
yummm!!
I am glad you like them!
They look wonderful to me, Khloe! Confession time: I love a gooey fudgy brownie with coffee for breakfast sometimes. Might as well start the day off right! 🙂
I had these brownies for breakfast, so you are not alone! Hahah!
These look perfect, Kloe…I soooo understand your comments on boxed brownies! I’ve already bookmarked this recipe and I hope to make a little sweet deliciousness for my family too…real soon!
Yay! I am so happy you like them. I am sure the whole family will enjoy these gooey treats!
I can’t imagine a box mix tasting better than these! You have definitely been using the wrong recipes (before this one 😉 ) as from-scratch always has to be better. Now for a bit of ice cream 🙂 How long does a pan of 12 brownies last in your house?
Haha! They last about three days at very best. These only lasted two days. 😉
Brownies are my favorite dessert — you just can’t go wrong! These are calling my name! 🙂
I know! I saw these and I had to try them myself. 🙂 Glad you enjoyed the post! Have a wonderful day!
Well if you say these are better than a box mix, this could be life changing! Because I’ve still yet to find a recipe that I like better. I can’t wait to try these! Brownies are my favorite.
Thanks, Natalie! And yeah, these are life changing! 🙂 I hope you do try and like them.
Ohhhhh.. gooey brownies are the best kind! Definitely something I’m going to have to try, one of my husbands favorite things too 🙂
Perfect! If you both like gooey brownies than these are for you two!
Thanks so much for commenting on my blog, Kloe! Your comment totally made my day.
I absolutely love brownies and fudgy is definitely a requirement! These look so decadent and delicious 🙂
