Homemade Chocolate Milk Mix

With Christmas literally days away, I have been busy in the kitchen, in the craft room and in the stores! I am sure most of you are too. When I asked my three youngest siblings what they wanted they simply said chocolate milk mixes of their own. I made some for them last year, but it wasn’t as creamy as I had hoped. The chocolate didn’t completely mix. In short it was okay, but not the best.

So, this morning I was looking all over the internet for a recipe that was guaranteed to be smooth chocolate milk. I found this recipe and was so impressed! I tried it myself first then made a big batch for the sibs. It worked perfectly!  The main secret was to put a spoonful or two of the mix in a cup then add a bit of hot water to dissolve and blend the powder.

I am so excited to see how they like it Christmas Day! 🙂 Go ahead, even if it isn’t a gift, I am sure this is a nice treat for all of you anytime of the year!

Doesn’t it look sooo good! It is only two ingredients! It was the easiest Christmas gift ever!

A shout out to onegoodthingbyjilee.com for an excellent recipe! View here.

  1. yes, so easy–love it! Great idea for a gift. Wish I’d read this sooner 😉 Always next year though, yes? Christmas will be wonderfully nuts at your house, I’d bet. New home and all that. Christmas blessings to you as well.
